What Constitutes a Document Type Anyway?

Structure Structure seems to be the highest priority at present - schemas are privileged. Different levels of structure processing may be worth considering.
Processing Processing is currently undescribed.
Stylesheets While not appropriate for all document classes, a default stylesheet would at least provide an option that could be used to view documents when custom-built software is unavailable.
Other possibilities Documentation of a document class and room for extensions both add value to a repository.
