Basic Information XPDL provides a class element with attributes including a classID (to create unique identifiers) a MIMEtype (to allow association of an XPD with a MIME type), a className, and version.
"Ownership" Most document classes have a home of some sort. The owner element provides a description of the owner and a link to further information.
Description Plain old text description can be very helpful. XPDL also provides a simple link to further description.
