Describing Style
Connecting Style to Schemas
- Deeply Intertwined Yet Unconnected Style sheets are typically based on a particular DTD, but there hasn't yet been a way to identify style sheets as the default for a particular DTD.
- Supporting Multiple Types Just like regular XML applications, XPDL-enhanced applications may or may not support CSS or XSL. XPDL allows developers to list multiple stylesheets of different types, and (like the PI rules for XML) allows applications to present them to users as options.
- Foundations Users and documents still should have choices with regard to their stylesheets. XPDL provides defaults, not overriding those choices.
